The Zhonghua H530 from Brilliance is a compact sedan based on the Huachen A platform, designed by the renowned Italian design house, Pininfarina. SUBARU has revealed a production-ready version of the WRX concept first seen earlier this year. The latest edition of the performance saloon may not be coming to the UK at all, but Subaru has finally given the 268bhp machine the go-ahead for Japan and North America. A new 2.0-litre ‘boxer’ engine carries on the brand’s tradition, bringing with it the same low centre of gravity as the old 2.5-litre unit but with greater environmental credentials.
Chevrolet recently took a Camaro SS upgraded with the 1LE package to Virginia International Raceway (VIR) to test. The new package adds $3,500 to the cost of a standard Camaro SS, for a total price of $37,035. At VIR, the car is good for a lap time of 2 minutes, 58.34 seconds.
